Essilor Instruments has announced yesterday the launch of the new Wave Analyzer Medica (WAM700+) Wavefront Aberrometer for the simplified screening of patient eye wellness. The instrument features complete anterior chamber analysis and visual need assessment to assess conditions such as cataract, glaucoma, and keratoconus.
Based on Shack-Hartmann wavefront technology, WAM700+ is a fast, effective, and space-saving fully-automatic wavefront aberrometer. A large touch screen provides easy and simple navigation for seven detailed measurements that can be completed in 90 seconds for both eyes.
