5th Annual Great Glasses Play Day Set for May

The 5th annual Great Glasses Play Day — which celebrates kids in glasses, contacts or patches — is scheduled to be held May 7-8, 2016, at a number of locations throughout the United States.

The Great Glasses Play Day is a non-profit organization founded by Kristin Ellsworth of Peeps Eyewear, Jessica Butler of Eye Power Kid’s Wear, and Ann Gwinn Zawistoski of Little Four Eyes as a way to celebrate children in glasses and raise awareness of the importance of early detection and treatment of vision issues. Celebrations are held both online and in-person at various locations around the country, including San Diego, Miami, and Minneapolis. Click here for scheduled locations.
