Earlier this week global eyecare company Alcon unveiled its new Clear Care® Rinse & Go™ saline solution for rinsing and temporary storage of contact lenses at home or on the go.
According to the company, Clear Care is for use following the cleaning and disinfection of contact lenses to quickly remove any loosened debris and trace amounts of cleaning and disinfecting solution, and provides up to 30 days of contact lens storage. Clear Care does not replace daily cleaning and disinfection of contact lenses, but is intended as a companion product.
Clear Care Rinse & Go will be available in two sizes at most major mass, drug and grocery retailers in the US starting in April 2016.
