Area98

Area98 will present at Silmo 2016 the latest frame from the Robert Rüdger collection. Paying homage to classic spectacles, style RR024 (pictured right) features clean lines, classic colors and warm tones for a timeless frame style. The all-wood frame has a panto shape and keyhole bridge, with a slightly elongated rim top. And the frame front and temples display a two-tone effect created through the use of different types of wood.

Charmant

CharmantNew from Charmant are three new frame styles for the autumn/winter 2016 collection from ELLE Eyewear. The EL13413 is a sporty fashionable chic frame featuring a round and deep front, and sleek temples with an eye-catching dotty pattern, available in blue, burgundy and brown. The elegant EL13415 frame (pictured left) has a slightly catty front with a snakeskin-inspired pattern sure to turn heads. And the EL13417 frame features oval details on the temples and is available in brown, black and gold. 

 

GSRx

GSRxNew from GSRx, Inc. is its Proper Optics Eyewear line (pictured right), which offers stylish, high-quality frames and state-of-the-art optics with pricing designed to keep patients in the practice while maintaining profitability. The Proper Optics catalogue includes over 280 frame styles, while the EPIK™ lens series includes progressives in three levels of customization, customized single vision and a range of lifestyle and task-specific designs. Proper Optics is currently available in the Southwest, Northern Midwest and Southeast.

 

GUNNAR Optiks

GUNNARComputer eyewear creator GUNNAR Optiks® recently introduced its Enigma — a lightweight and comfortable frame with incredible peripheral viewing. Enigma uses the company's patented i-AMP® lens technology that helps eliminate eye strain and block the harmful effects of artificial blue light. It features multi-barrel hinges anchored into injected molded temples, even weight distribution nose rests, and engineering grade frame polymers. Color options include onyx, smoke and void.

And also new from GUNNAR is the Havok (pictured left) computer eyewear frame that blends advanced technology with modern styling. This frame features a multi-layered acetate front frame hinged to high tensile steel temples, while adjustable silicone nose pads offer customizable comfort. Havok also uses patented i-AMP lens technology, and is available in onyx and tortoise with amber lenses, or onyx with crystalline lenses.

Liberty Sport

Liberty SportThe new Z8 collection of virtually indestructible eyewear is the latest product offering from Liberty Sport. Designed for the young active eyewear market, these frames are made from a Nylo-flex™ material coupled with the lens impact dampening technology ShockBlok™ and flexible comfort wrap temples that ensure the frames won't slip off with motion. The initial ophthalmic collection includes two styles with four colors each. Z8-Y20 (pictured right) comes in size 50/16 in crystal navy, translucent charcoal-burgundy, shiny black-grey and shiny black-green, while Z8-Y10 comes in size 52/16 and colors frosted navy-lime, shiny black-orange, crystal black-black and matte black-blue.

Lucid Eyewear

Lucid EyewearNew from Lucid Eyewear is The Albatross (pictured left) — the official sunglasses of the GPA Lecom web.com tour. This lightweight and simplistic sunwear with matching polarized lenses were designed for outdoor enthusiasts who have an active lifestyle. The Albatross comes in black and grey polarized, or tortoise and gold polarized. Each pair features spring hinge molds to keep the frames on the wearer's face no matter what activity they are involved in. And for each pair of sunglasses sold, Lucid will donate five dollars to Mikey’s Way Foundation that helps children coping with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

Nouveau Eyewear

Nouveau EyewearNouveau Eyewear recently released four new vintage-inspired masculine styles for its Van Heusen Studio collection, each available in a variety of colorways. The S356 is a classic style with a heavy brow line and chunky temples balanced with slim eye wire, while S359 (pictured right) brings some color to a man's world with rich shades of blue and green tortoise. Style S357 was designed with Big Man Fit technology with extended end pieces and a wider bridge, while S358 is a stout zyl design with signature hardware on each end piece.

And Nouveau Eyewear also recently debuted four new styles for its Realtree Eyewear collection. Men's R417 and women's R418 are both rimless styles featuring bold, camo-infused temples. Men's style R416 is a classic rectangular front frame with Realtree MAX-5 camo on each temple, while women's R419 is a semi-rimless frame with three jeweled accents on each temple. 

Revolution Eyewear

Revolution EyewearThe Fall collection from Revolution Eyewear features styles for men and women, all with a polarized polycarbonate magnetic clip in a custom colorway that compliments the frame. The Women's Collection features REV 789 with a slight cat eye silhouette and intriguing lace pattern; the mixed material REV 797 with a slim metal front and zyl temples; and REV 795 with jeweled temples and tortoise interior. And for those looking for something vintage inspired, REV 790 has a vintage-inspired classic shape, while REV 793 has a vintage-chic front with gentle, fading color effect.

The Men's Collection includes the sleek and aerodynamic REV 792 with its lightweight metal front and sweeping temples, to the timeless style of REV 791 (pictured left) available in blue denim, brown denim, grey denim, or sunrise. REV 796 has a deep front for a decidedly retro vibe, while REV 794 has a lightweight front and zyl/metal temples with subtle detailing.

Spektre

SpektreNew from Italian eyewear brand Spektre is Domina (pictured right) — a timeless frame that adds a twist to the classic aviator style. The frame is constructed from lightweight yet flexible stainless steel, and features flat lenses in a range of colors from quirky rose gold mirror to the elegant gradient tobacco. A stylish and classic frame that, at the same time, can add a vintage and unique touch to every look.

Wiley X

Wiley XWiley X has recently launched WX Marker (pictured left), a stylish dress frame that is part of the company's WorkSight™ line of fashion-forward ophthalmic safety glasses. Available in four attractive finishes — matte black, gloss black, gloss brown streak and gloss black with sky blue — the unisex WX Marker frame comes with clear ANSI-Z87.1-rated, removable side shields and features Wiley X's DIGIFORCE™ digital Rx lens technology and the company’s new WX BLUE premium blue blocking AR coating.

And in support of August's Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month, Wiley X recently introduced its Youth Force™ line of protective eyewear designed specifically for young athletes. Each of the four Youth Force models — the WX Flash, WX Victory, WX Fierce and WX Gamer — are ASTM F803 rated for maximum vision protection while participating in sporting activities. Each style was designed for a specific age group, and they all use bold colors and graphics to help ensure kids will actually want to wear these glasses not only while playing and practicing their favorite sports, but all the time.
