The Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA) has announced the registration opening for their online conference, which will be available live online on Saturday, September 12 – Sunday, September 13. All presentations will be available on-demand through October 31, 2020.
The NORA annual conference is a premier event for eye care and other healthcare professionals who provide rehabilitative services to individuals who have suffered a traumatic brain injury. “In line with our continued commitment toward advancing professional knowledge and understanding of Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitative care and encouraging strong working relationships among professionals, the NORA 2020 online conference, Eye, Brain & Body Integration in Neuro Care, brings together key opinion leaders from optometry and other specialties,” says Gary Esterow, NORA Executive Director.
This year’s program offers up to 17 COPE-approved CE credits with all-new presentations, including the addition of a new course designed to provide allied therapy professionals with a foundational understanding of the role of neuro-optometric rehabilitation for vision disorders associated with concussion, stroke and other neurological disorder. Also new this year, courses designed especially for staff members or optometrists who are looking to add a neuro-component to their office.
Active NORA Professional and Allied Professional members receive discounted pricing and are eligible for early-bird discounts. Students currently enrolled in a certified college of optometry, allied health profession, education, and rehabilitation program or in an optometric residency or a fellowship program can attend the conference for free.
