In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Grafton Optical has designed and manufactured a large, Universal Slit Lamp Breath Shield to supply to independent and chain opticians, hospitals and universities across the UK and Ireland. The shields are to be locally produced to support UK business and will be made accessible to as many practices and organisations as possible.
Grafton Optical has supplied 1,000 units in the first 2 weeks due to a large demand. Many customers have also expressed positive feedback. More information on the shields can be found here.
The company has also made available a range of Clear Perspex Counter Top Hygiene Screens. Constructed of durable 5mm clear Perspex for easy cleaning, the free-standing screens can be used on desktops and counters to help maintain suitable distance requirements for infection control. Four screen sizes are available, with or without access slots.
