 New Upgrades to Contact Lens Sales Platform EDGEPro

GPN Technologies has announced the release of several highly-sought-after features within its EDGEPro™ platform. Timed to coincide with Vision Expo East, EDGEPro users will have access to expanded data and reporting for contact lens sales on the new Contact Lens Dashboard, a “compare-my-practice” tool dubbed “EDGEPro Rankings”, and a significantly upgraded and expanded Transaction Report. These three features represent a substantial enhancement to the EDGEPro platform, giving its subscribers important advantages in managing their practice performance.

EDGEPro is the 3rd generation platform of The EDGE®, launched in 2007 by GPN Technologies. The software is an integrated, fully HIPAA-compliant solution that provides ECPs with advanced reporting on productivity, performance, trending, and revenue analysis. GPN Technologies maintains certified partnerships with eight of the leading PM/EHR software companies in order to provide its users with the most accurate and meaningful analysis tools. Features of the program already include automated tracking of more than 30 KPIs, detailed frame-and-lens reporting, staff performance tools, and the innovative “Opportunities Dashboard,” released in 2016.

Contact Lens Dashboard presents information in overview regarding year-supply sales, shares by manufacturer, specific brand performance, and percentage of dailies. As is typical with EDGE products, EDGEPro allows the user to drill down easily into the details from the overview summary report and examine the individual records and component data. Users will be able to isolate and capitalize on opportunities to manage their contact lens products and sales proactively.

Enhanced Transaction Details Because EDGEPro builds 100% of its dashboards, KPIs and reports from the granular level up, users are able to leverage those details to drill down into individual transactions and examine the critical particulars of each patient interaction on-demand. With the release of the enhanced Transaction Detail List and Invoice / Feeslip display, patient encounters are easier to locate than ever. Departmental revenue is clearly organized on the overview list, charges are shown separately from payments, and 3rd party payments are clearly broken out as well. The new list page includes optimized search capability, sortable columns, selection options to show or hide columns at the user’s discretion, and painless exports to several formats.

The expanded transaction detail now offers a line-item breakdown, showing list price, patient and 3rd party collections and EDGEPro’s proprietary “true” revenue. The display is a clear accounting of the appointment exams, sales, and collections by department, allowing easy cross-referencing with PMS records.
