Researchers Examine Long-Term Vision Issues Faced by Concussion Patients

Researchers from RightEye LLC recently announced the publication of a clinical case study demonstrating the long-term eye movement issues that can affect patients with concussion or other suspected brain injury.

Using clinical assessments and eye tracking technology to monitor patient change over time and after vision therapy, researchers reportedly found concussions and other brain injuries can have long-lasting effects on patients that are difficult to identify and even harder to monitor for improvement over time.

The researchers also reported the results of their clinical case help validate RightEye's eye tracking technology as an effective method for identifying these challenges and monitoring improvement.

The study was recently published in the journal Translational Biomedicine.
