Signet Armorlite Partners with C&E Vision Buying Group
CARLSBAD, CA (May 19, 2017) – Signet Armorlite has signed a vendor agreement with C&E Vision Buying Group. This partnership will provide C&E Vision members the benefits of the Kodak brand name with a high-quality lens portfolio.
C&E Vision was founded in 1983 to provide Independent Eyecare Professionals (IEPs) the buying power to compete against retail optical chains and warehouse outlets. In addition, members benefit from consolidated billing to save time and money in their day-to-day accounting. Today, C&E is one of the nation’s largest optical buying groups with nearly 4,000 members throughout the United States. C&E launched their Members-Only Web Portal to facilitate their practice management, provide online marketing tools, consolidate vendor invoices, and stay up-to-date on certification with several CE events through the year.
A veteran in the optical industry, in 2015 Signet Armorlite launched the KODAK Lens Professional Series, exclusively available through Independent Eye Care Practices. With the www.KodakLens.com consumer website’s doctor locator, Signet Armorlite offers C&E members who sign up, another venue to reach more patients. The KODAK Lens Professional Services portfolio includes various levels of support to accommodate each eye care professional’s needs. Whether it is a complete office remake, a dedicated KODAK Lens Corner or customized merchandising materials; C&E members can make use of Signet Armorlite’s expertise to retain prescriptions from walking out the door as well as attract new patients.
“We are pleased to partner with C&E Vision,” states Ed DeRosa, Executive Vice President, Signet Armorlite. “Both entities have the same goals of supporting independent optometry and we will do our part to help C&E members not only survive but thrive. We have multiple programs and knowledgeable staff to bring C&E Eyecare Professionals to the forefront of vision care.”
“C&E Vision reached out to Signet Armorlite because we recognize that a powerful consumer brand like Kodak is a great addition to the services we provide our members,” states David Carneal, Director of Buying Group Relations, C&E Vision. “Signet Armorlite’s rebate program PracticePlus goes hand in hand with our own loyalty programs to help IEPs evolve in the digital marketing environment we live in today. Social media and digital campaigns are the new way to increase traffic and together, we will enrich the tools at our members’ disposal.
