Transitions Signature Lens Expanded to More Segmented Multifocals

Younger Optics recently announced Transitions® Signature® VII polycarbonate composite lens technology has been expanded to include FT35 bifocal lenses and 7 x 28 trifocal lenses in both gray and brown, allowing it to serve more segmented multifocal lens wearers.

The product is reportedly a polycarbonate composite lens developed by Younger Optics and Transitions Optical that incorporates a thin photochromic front surface bifocal or trifocal layer made of Trivex®, resulting in a lens with Transitions Signature VII performance and that can be surfaced, polished, edged and dispensed just like a clear polycarbonate lens.
