BLANCHARD CONTACT LENSES ANNOUNCES SPRING SCLERAL LENS WORKSHOP TOUR
Manchester, NH, February 1, 2017 – Blanchard Contact Lenses, a leading scleral lens designer in North America, has released the cities and dates for their upcoming spring Beyond the Limbus Scleral Lens Workshop tour. Beyond the Limbus workshops, in their seventh year, are a component of Blanchard University, Blanchard’s educational division. These intensive, one-day workshops deliver comprehensive, hands-on training and tools to ensure eye care professionals leave with the skills and confidence they need to successfully incorporate Blanchard’s innovative scleral lens designs into their practice.
Workshop attendees will receive a deeper appreciation of the minimalist approach to scleral lens design and fitting that Blanchard has pioneered with their Onefit™ Scleral Lens Platform - delivering optimal oxygenation for long-term corneal health, with minimal lens mass and tear lens thickness. Attendees will learn how to fit Onefit™ scleral lenses for healthy and compromised corneas, as well as msd™ Select scleral lenses for highly irregular corneas.
