Paragon Vision Sciences recently announced it has received approval from the China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) for commercial availability of its corneal reshaping/orthokeratology brand, Paragon CRT® Contact Lenses in China.
With this approval, the contact lenses are now reportedly available in 50 countries around the world, including the U.S. The contact lenses are reportedly a non-surgical treatment option for managing myopia. Essilor China will serve as the exclusive distributor for Paragon CRT® Contact Lenses in China, and the lenses will be widely available to eye care practitioners within the next few months.
