The American Academy of Optometry (AAO) is currently accepting continuing education course proposals for Academy 2017 through the end of January.
Submissions will be accepted until January 31, 2017 and up to three lecture or workshop proposals can be submitted. According to AAO, lecture and workshop presenters earn $350 per lecture hour, and grand rounds presents earn $115. Additionally, presenters pay a discounted registration rate for the conference, and current Fellows can earn two points per presentation that can be used toward their required 15 Maintenance of Fellowship points required every 10 years.
Academy 2-17 will be held October 11-14, 2017 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
