Bausch + Lomb (B+L) recently announced it had raised more than $40,000 for Optometry Giving Sight in support of the 2016 World Sight Day Challenge.
To raise the money, B+L employees from various sites across the U.S. reportedly held fundraisers throughout the month of October. In addition to this latest donation, B+L also previously donated a reported $50,000 to Optometry Giving Sight earlier in 2016, and also offered ECPs and their patients the opportunity to donate a portion of their contact lens rebates directly to the organization.
