Applications are now being accepted for National Vision Inc.'s 2016-2017 Grant Program, through which third- and fourth-year U.S. optometry students are eligible for the chance to win a $5,000 grand prize.
To enter, applicants are asked to write a 500-word essay or create a short video sharing their perspectives on the impact of technology on the field of optometry in the past and how it will influence their future careers as optometrists. Three grants will reportedly be awarded -- a $5,000 first place grant and two $1,000 runner-up grants.
All applications are due by January 31, 2017, and the winners will be announced before March 1, 2017. For submissions and questions, visit NationalVision.com or email [email protected].
