The Vision Council Launches Campaign for Low Vision Resource, Releases Fall/Winter 2016 Trend Kit

The Vision Council recently launched a new campaign to help drive traffic to its online low vision resource, and released the Fall/Winter 2016 Trend Kit featuring upcoming eyewear trends to consumer media.

WhatIsLowVision.org is a site developed by The Vision Council to help educate low vision patients and their caregivers about the types and causes of low vision, as well as low vision solutions including devices and treatment options. The site also features a doctor/dealer locator for finding low vision services and products in a patient's local area. Earlier this month, The Vision Council launched a three-month campaign using search engine marketing (SEM) to help drive traffic to the site, with an expectation of receiving 70,000 to 80,000 visits to the site by the end of the campaign.

And The Vision Council recently released its Eyecessorize Fall/Winter 2016 Trend Kit to more than 100 fashion and lifestyle editors nationwide. The digital kit includes an online booklet prominently displaying products from The Vision Council members. The kit is meant to generate consumer media awareness of the season's eyewear trends and member products, ultimately leading to coverage in fashion and lifestyle media outlets.
