Optometry Giving Sight recently announced the start of the 10th annual World Sight Day Challenge — their yearly fundraising campaign that raises funds for people who are needlessly blind or visually impaired simply because they can’t access an eye exam and vision care provided by an optometrist.
This year's World Sight Day Challenge will run from September 1, 2016 until October 31, 2016 — and includes World Sight Day on Thursday, October 13th — and will focus on the need for effective, sustainable, eye health initiatives for children and adolescents. Optometry Giving Sight invites practices, schools and companies to participate in fundraising activities. The organization offers fundraising ideas, materials, and information to help you get started — click here to register.
