Bio-Tissue®, Inc. recently launched Cliradex® Light for the treatment of blepharitis symptoms and for daily ocular hygiene use.
The newest addition to the company's Cliradex product line, Cliradex Light is a mild form formulation with a lower concentration of 4-Terpineol, which is reportedly an important component of tea tree oil that is clincially-proven to safely and effectively clean patients’ eyelids and lashes and eradicate Demodex mites. Cliradex Light is used to alleviate symptoms of mild to moderate blepharitis, dry eye, ocular rosacea, meibomian gland disease and other lid margin diseases. It will be available in the summer/fall of 2016.
