Computer eyewear manufacturer Gunnar Optiks® has recently launched a new marketing campaign aimed at educating consumers about digital eye strain (DES).
According to Gunnar, although almost 70 percent of Americans suffer symptoms of DES — also known as computer vision syndrome — they do not normally understand what is causing it. Two comical commercials have been produced illustrating digital devices themselves explaining to their victim what digital eye strain is, and what it does to them. Digital eye strain, also known as computer vision syndrome, is the physical eye discomfort felt by many individuals after two or more hours in front of a digital screen.
