 Moore Named Winner of Excellence in Vision and Public Health Award

Dr. Bruce Moore, Marcus Professor of Pediatric Studies at the New England College of Optometry, has been named the recipient of the 2016 Jenny Pomeroy Award for Excellence in Vision and Public Health by Prevent Blindness.

The award is presented annually to an individual, team, or organization that has made significant contributions to the advancement of public health related to vision and eye health at the community, state, and/or national level. Dr. Moore is being recognized for his significant contributions on a state and national level to advancements in vision and eye health and public health practice for children. He will be presented with his award at the 5th Annual Prevent Blindness Focus on Eye Health National Summit in Washington, D.C., on July 13, 2016.
