Full service digital lens laboratory EGMA LLC recently launched its new UV+420cut™ Blue Block Lens Material, which blocks harmful blue light without reflection or yellowish lens color.
The new UV+420cut Material will be available in single vision, office and progressive designs through its complete range of X100, X300 and X500 Lens Series in a number of indexes.

Additionally, EGMA recently partnered with Independent Eye Care Professionals (IECP) and A&A Optical to manufacture ophthalmic lenses and complete eyewear sets for fulfillment of programs administered by IECP’s subsidiaries Vision Care Direct and VCD Labs.
The new partnership reportedly provides optometrists using VCD Labs a wider frame and lens selection to offer cash-pay patients and vision direct members as part of VCD's PLUS plans, as well as faster turnaround time for patient prescription fulfillment.
