Tech-based eyewear company Eyenavision, Inc., has announced it will be the exclusive distributor of Roger Bacon Eyewear — which reportedly developed the world's first made-to-measure 3D printed eyewear collection for sale through independent optical retailers — in the United States.
Through the use of a biometric scanner attached to an iPad, Robert Bacon Eyewear allows ECPs to scan in their patient's precise dimensions from which a custom pair of frames is made using a 3D printer. In addition to the scanner, ECPs are given a visualization unit that allows patients to preview all frames from the collection.
