The National Center for Children's Vision and Eye Health (NCCVEH) at Prevent Blindness recently released a comprehensive new report on children's vision health.
Called "Children's Vision and Eye Health: A Snapshot of Current National Issues," the report offers an outline of the current landscape for children's health issues including national prevalence rates for vision conditions, including the impact of access to care issues, breakdowns by age and ethnic groups. The report also includes school vision screening rates, and state-by-state breakdown of regulations related to school-age and preschool-age vision screening.
