VSP Global® recently announced its Eyes of Hope program has provided 1 million adults and children in need with no-cost eye exams and glasses.
Eyes of Hope is VSP's initiative to increase access to eye care and eyewear where it's most needed. Since 1997, VSP Global businesses have invested nearly $175 million in products and services for people disadvantaged by income, natural disaster or distance to care.
In celebration of the milestone, VSP will host a two-day mobile eye care clinic event at Monarch School in San Diego to provide eye exams and glasses to both students and their family members. Additionally, VSP has committed to helping another million people by 2020 through its Eyes of Hope: a Million More initiative, which will officially launch in May 2016 in partnership with the US Conference of Mayors.
