New from Blackfin is the Elemento series featuring six limited-edition frames plated with 24 karat gold. New style Key West is a classic style frame with a rounded shape exuding vintage appeal, with edges and details in polished gold. Amelie is a feminine cat-eye frame adorned with a two-tone white smoke and champagne gold colored combination, while Baltimore revisits a classic feminine shape in a modern key. Hudson features a black outer front with gold temples and inner front for a versatile model with distinctive clean lines, and Norman has laser-engraved temples with a lamé effect for understated elegance. And Ushuaia (pictured right) is a feminine frame with a well-defined shape and front adorned with a gold-plated top rim.
New from Brando Eyewear is Foundations, the new campaign from eyewear industry veteran Alyson Magee, featuring a refined collection of both optical and sunglass frames for men and women. The new collection keeps with Magee's signature style, skilled craftsmanship and architecturally-inspired silhouettes, creating a perfect tension between aesthetics and engineering. Classic square and circular shapes are punctuated with vibrant color, refined by her focus on micro details and tempered with complex constructions that push conventional boundaries. Standouts include the 4-dimensional profiles of styles AM7001 (pictured left) and AM3001, and her precise engineering of negative space in style AM7003.
Sonata is the latest design line for the Line Art Charmant collection, featuring feminine, luxurious models that mirror the classical grandeur of a musical sonata. The eye-catching temple design of the Sonata eyewear collection consists of two harmoniously assembled arches, making for a delicate, feminine and refine three-dimensional temple design that gently embraces the wearer's face. New style XL2104 features a modern soft-square front shape and elegantly colored lines that create fascinating and effective color nuances in a super-lightweight frame. XL2105 has a roundish titanium front with gracefully colored lines available in black, gold and rose gold. And XL2106 (pictured right) is a new Nylor model featuring a detailed rounded shape, available in brown, gold and violet.
New from ClearVision Optical are five new optical styles from IZOD, including two additions to IZOD ProFlex — a sub-collection designed with ULTEM™ resin temples. New style 2034 (pictured left) is a full acetate style with a modified rectangle eye shape. It is also a ProFlex style features ULTEM temples, which provide flexibility and durability. Also new to the ProFlex collection is 2035 — a metal combo frame with temple colors that contrast the frame front, providing a subtle pop of color. Old meets new with stainless steel style 2030, featuring a classic P3 shape and keyhole bridge. Style 3014 is a new addition to the PerformX collection, a classically sporty style constructed with a memory metal bridge and temples. And new style 3015 is a semi-rimless frame with a modified rectangle shape available in black and gunmetal.
New for summer 2017 from ic! berlin is urban — a new collection of 3D-printed plotic eyewear. The five new models are inspired by the beautifully utilitarian brutalist architecture that surrounds us as chic uptown office buildings and dilapidated downtown housing estates. The new collection explores ideas of perspective and contradiction with new hybrid constructions, new 3D printed textures, and new season plotic colors such as brutal blue and powdered beige. And for the first time, temples can be adjusted up to 10 mm thanks to the new vario temple.
And this summer, ic! berlin also teamed up with their former bookkeeping intern turned eyewear wunderkind Jeremy Tarian for ic! berlin x tarian (pictured right): a collection of vegan organic fair-trade regional non-GMO deconstructed decaf soy cappuccino eyewear. Comprising two correction frames and one sunglass, ic! berlin x tarian features not only a new hybrid construction method for ic! berlin, but also five custom acetate laminates curated by Tarian and named for some of his favorite cruelty-free foods — A for asparagus, B for beetroot, C for courgette, D for dragon fruit and E for echallot.
New from Kenmark Eyewear are six new optical styles for Lilly Pulitzer. Bailey is a full rim zyl style frame with cutaway epoxy-filled detailing and a signature gold logo on the temples, while Carlton is a trendy, petite round full zyl style with signature epoxy filled weaving detail on the temples. Lindley is a full zyl style with signature epoxy-filled weaving detail on the temples, and Ashby is a chic clubmaster style with cutaway epoxy-filled detailing on the temples. Sydney is a chic cat eye full zyl style with signature metal epoxy-filled "Lilly" plaque and gold logo on temples, while Blythe (pictured left) is a full zyl style with a keyhole bridge available in Berry, Blue and Brown.
Kenmark has also released six new optical styles for Original Penguin JR. The Elliot JR is a hip full metal round style available in Brown, Gunmetal and Navy, while The Henderson JR is a metal clubmaster style with acetate temples. The Take a Mulligan JR is a full zyl style with a retro keyhole bridge, and The Princeton JR is a round clubmaster style with metal temples and custom detailing. The Saul JR is a hip full acetate frame available in Black, Faded Denim and Tortoise, while The Mungarutal JR is a round full acetate style available in Crystal, Faded Denim, Rock Ridge, and Tortoise.
And there's also four new optical styles for kensie girl. Aloha is a full rim zyl style with a fun floral pattern detailing on the temples, while Alive is a full zyl oval style with animal print pattern detailing on the temples. Splash is a full zyl frame with fun "confetti" style acetate colors, and Fame is a hip oversized style with metal star detailing on the front and temples, plus glitter core wires.
Global eyewear and watch brand KOMONO has launched the NEUTRØ Series (pictured right) — a capsule collection of sunglasses that sets a new standard in stylish sustainability. The collection infuses four classic KOMONO styles with NEUTRØ EcoPaXX® technology — Francis, Vivien, Harper and Devon. All NEUTRØ styles feature gradient bio-lenses and sustainable frames available in two colors, sand and black. Made from flexible material, the NEUTRØ Series offers increased product durability and impact resistance. And its lightweight construction helps ensure optimal comfort.
New from MYKITA is the MYKITA LITE collection, which introduces a new generation of mixed material models combining the warmth of acetate with the effortless mechanics of the brand's stainless-steel hinge construction. Acetates in dark amber or tortoiseshell colorways dominate in new models Alfur and Aluki, whereas Samu (pictured left) is made primarily of stainless steel — warm acetate appears only on the elements touching the skin. All models demonstrate an understated, noble aesthetic that announces itself over time.
Plan "B" Eyewear
Plan “B” Eyewear has added two new acetate models to its Ice Cream collection. New styles IC9087 (pictured right) and IC9088 are sweet and spirited designs that feature a variation of a perfect and flattering cat-eye shape, constructed in high-quality acetate. These new models feature a beautiful, marbled blend of colors that include deep blues, pretty purples, vibrant greens and eye-catching orange. New from the Safilo Group is Roma — the new Spring/Summer 2017 optical collection from Fendi. The new optical collection plays with classic shapes and materials, combining them into a unique and surprising way. And the frames are all in full acetate with bi-layer or three-layer colorblock structures for a refined, yet playful touch. New FF 0249 is a pantos-shaped optical frame with a bi-layer acetate available in black/pink, blue/pink, Havana/green, violet/brick, while FF 0251 (pictured left) is a rectangular-shaped frame in three-layer acetate, with color combos including black/pink/burgundy, blue/pink/azure, Havana/pink/violet, violet/white/pink. Cat-eye FF 0255 is a bi-layer acetate frame available in black/pink, blue/green, Havana/fuchsia, teal/white. And FF 0256 is a butterfly-shaped frame in three-layer acetate, available in black/white/aqua, Havana/pink/peach, red/fuchsia/white, violet/brick/cream.
New from Silhouette is the Racing Collection (pictured right) — the brand's newest men's rimless collection. The new six models feature timeless classics with athletic appeal. SPX and titanium elements create a product that is truly exciting — color highlights between the components resemble the decorative seams you might find inside the cockpit of a racing car. Wiley X® recently launched the new style WX Ignite for its Active Lifestyle Series sunglass family. The new WX Ignite features a stylish and functional wrap-around frame design for optimum coverage and superior peripheral vision, and is offered in two versions to suit the needs of outdoor sports enthusiasts. New July releases for Zyloware Eyewear include the new Sophia Loren BR 81 full rim metal frame in a flattering rectangle shape with an open endpiece and crystal stones, and the MaxStudio.com LX 156Z (pictured left) full rim zyl frame available in two on-trend colors — Azure and Cream Tortoise. And there are two new styles for Gloria by Gloria Vanderbilt — the full rim metal frame 4052 that delivers a stylish look that is perfect for any occasion, and full rim plastic cat-eye 4053 available in Demi Blue or Purple Fade.
July also sees two new frames for Via Spiga — the full rim zyl frame Giada combines style and comfort for the modern-day fashionista, while the sophisticated Tazia is a full rim metal frame with a stylish metal endpiece incorporating metal studs. There are four new frames for Shaquille O'Neal Squad — QD 5072, QD 508Z, QD 509M and QD 510M — featuring on-trend colors and designs, plus spring hinges and snap-in nosepads for added comfort. And for Stetson, new style 342 combines masculine appeal and all-American styling in an iconic aviator shape that never goes out of style. And there's two new styles for Stetson Off Road — 5060 represents minimalistic styling for the modern-day guy with a full rim metal style available in two masculine colors, and 5061 is a full rim metal frame designed for the guy who wants modern, good looking eyewear without the high price tag.
