Eschenbach Optik of America, Inc has introduced this month the New Vario Digital FHD foldable desktop video magnifier. The magnifier features outstanding image quality, a simple user interface and compact design. It utilizes a 15.6” full HD monitor with optical digital zoom from 1.3x - 45x magnification and an FHD camera that provides a true color image with a large field of view.
The tactile buttons and turn dials make the Vario Digital FHD easy to operate and it provides voice output when in menu mode with 5 languages from which to select. The Vario Digital FHD provides bright LED illumination with lights located in two areas, on the arm and on the back of the monitor, which are adjustable to provide uniform, shadow-free viewing. And the widescreen format and tilting camera make it easier to read large documents, write under and see close-up while doing hobby work.
Images can be captured and stored on a removable 8GB SD card and viewed either on the LCD screen or on a computer monitor when connected through the built-in type C USB port. The Vario Digital FHD’s intuitive operation and practical folding design make it an ideal desktop video magnifier for the visually impaired.
An optional adjustable-height Video Magnifier Table is available to display the Vario Digital FHD in a waiting room to promote awareness of the product and increase patient interest. The 37” wide table offers a working height from between 29” and 40.8” so it can be set to the appropriate ergonomic height for a wide range of patients. The table also features lockable wheels on the front so it can be easily maneuvered to a different location when needed.
