 NORA Offers Conference Grants, Calls for Award Nominations

The Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, International (NORA) is offering up to 10 students and residents with an interest in neuro-rehabilitation an opportunity to apply for a student grant to attend the organization’s Clinical Skills Pre-Conference (September 19-20) and 28th annual General Conference (September21-22) at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resorts, Scottsdale, Arizona.

Each grant recipient will receive full conference registration and $400 in travel grant funds. Grant recipients will be required to arrange for their own lodging but can take advantage of a special conference room rate offered by the Hilton Scottsdale Resorts. Vivid Vision, a virtual reality software manufacturer, is providing some support for the program through a $1,000 donation.

NORA acknowledges individuals and organizations for important contributions to the area of Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation. These awards are presented annually at the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association General Conference. To recommend a candidate for any of those awards where nominations are accepted, please fill out the form on that award’s page and send it to the NORA Awards Committee at [email protected] by July 31, 2019. All nominations are reviewed by the NORA Award’s Committee. The committee consists of three members; one of whom is the committee chair. Committee members serve a term of two years, but can be reassigned additional terms by the NORA president.
