Riata Capital Group recently announced it has formed Acuity Eyecare Holdings, which will own and operate 61 eyecare locations across five states.
Riata has launched Acuity following the simultaneous acquisition of three regional eyecare groups:
- Crown Vision Center, based in St. Louis, which was reportedly ranked as the 26th largest eyecare group in the United States based on locations;
- Eyetique, based in Pittsburgh, which was ranked the 30th largest eyecare group in the United States based on locations; and
- International Eyecare Center, based in Quincy, Illinois, which serves rural communities in Missouri, Illinois and Iowa.
Acuity will also reportedly own a large, full-service digital lab operation called The First Look Lab located just outside of St. Louis. Riata reportedly intends to expand Acuity into a market-leading eyecare platform through additional acquisitions of regional eyecare groups and practices.
