First Insight Corporation — developers of MaximEyes certified EHR and practice management software for eye care professionals — recently launched an online bill pay module to help practices reduce past-due balanced and increase revenue.
Part of the company's Advanced Patient Portal, the online bill may module is reportedly powered by credit card processor Vantiv Integrated Payments. Through the new module, patients can pay their bills at their convenience and on any mobile device. It also provides secure text and email messaging to remind patients of bills due. And the module will reportedly help practices cut back on staff time devoted to chasing down payments or waiting for checks to clear.
