 The Vision Council Announces New Board Members, Releases Spring/Summer 2017 Trend Kit

The Vision Council recently announced its newly-elected 2017 officers and Board of Directors, and released its spring/summer 2017 trend kit to hundreds of fashion and lifestyle editors nationwide.

During the Vision Council's Executive Summit last month, Mike Hundert, CEO and chief creative officer of De Rigo Rem, was elected the new chairman of the Board, with Ken Bradley of Eschenbach Optik tapped as the new vice chairman, and Robert Liener of A&A Optical as the secretary/treasurer. Marty Bassett of Walman Optical is now the immediate past chairman. Also elected were directors-at-large Kurt Atchison of Schneider Optical Machines, Henri Blomqvist of Safilo, Rick Tinson of Hoya, and Fabrizio Uguzzoni of Luxottica Wholesale, each selected for an initial two-year term, as well as Bob Colucci of Essilor and Glenn Rusk of Kering Eyewear, each selected for a second two-year term.

And the Vision Council’s Eyecessorize fashion eyewear campaign recently released the spring/summer 2017 trend kit in an effort to generate generate consumer media awareness of the season's eyewear trends and product from members of The Vision Council, ultimately leading to coverage in fashion and lifestyle media outlets.
