LensFerry S Users Report Increase in 1-Day Annual Supply Sales

ECP users of LensFerry® S — a subscription-based ordering service for 1-day contact lens wearers — have reported up to a 20 percent increase in 1-day annual supply sales in their practices over the past six months, as well as patient satisfaction in ease of ordering.

LensFerry S, which was launched in April by EyeCare Prime® — a subsidiary of CooperVision, Inc. — allows participating practices to enroll 1-day contact lens wearers in the service. The service reportedly divides the annual cost of 1-day lenses into automatic monthly payments and quarterly lens deliveries. LensFerry S included contact lenses from all manufacturers at ECPs' specific prices, and the prescribing practice receives the sales revenue as if the lenses had been paid for in-office.

The service is reportedly available to all eye care practices in the U.S. And for every completed patient annual subscription through LensFerry S, EyeCare Prime makes a donation to Optometry Giving Sight for an eye exam.
