Volk Optical recently announced it has added Bausch + Lomb Specialty Vision Products custom specialty lens designs to the Best Fit Analysis Report of its Volk Eye Check portable ophthalmic exam tool.
The Eye Check's SL Mode takes precise measurements — such as Horizontal Visible Iris Diameter (HVID), pupil diameter and Sagittal depth — to help practitioners during contact lens fitting. And the Best Fit Analysis feature provides doctors with a patient-specific report recommending the most appropriate lenses by brand and type.
Current Volk Eye Check users will now have access to fitting rules for B+L Specialty Vision Products™’ HP Toric and Sphere, ASTERA® Multifocal Toric, NovaKone® ; and C-Vue™Toric, Sphere, and Multifocal design contact lenses.
