In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Europa Eyewear is joining forces with I Have Wings Breast Cancer Foundation to help raise money for families dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis, and is looking for opticals nationwide to participate.
Practices and optical stores can participate by purchasing limited edition acetate mini-eyewear bracelets in shades of pink as a fundraising tool, with all net proceeds benefitting I Have Wings. Or opticals can sign up to be a collection point for new or used costume jewelry donations for I Have Wings' ongoing Bling Bling Exchange program, which upcycles the donated pieces and auctions them off at their annual Spring Bling fundraising event.

Enlisting Opticals to Help Raise Funds and Awareness
Chicago, IL, October, 2016 - This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Europa Eyewear is teaming up with I Have Wings breast cancer foundation to raise funds to help enrich the lives of families dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis. Europa is enlisting the help of optical stores nationwide is a shared effort to promote awareness and amplify fundraising.
There are two ways an office can help; choose one, or better yet, both:
- A limited edition of Europa’s signature acetate mini-eyewear bracelet is available for purchase (with all net proceeds benefitting I Have Wings) in shades of pink as a fundraising tool.
- Vibrant pink Cinzia tote bags will be put to work collection used costume jewelry donations for I Have Wings’ ongoing Bling Bling Exchange, a program that up cycles these donated pieces and auctions them at their annual Spring Bling fundraising event. Sign up as a collection point! Europa will send a kit, including the tote bag, and I Have Wings will publicize the locations of collection points.
