The Luxottica Group and Intel have recently launched Radar Pace™ — smart eyewear with a real-time activated coaching system to help athletes track and understand their performance.
The product is reportedly the results of years of research and development between Intel and Luxottica's Oakley brand. Aimed at redefining the way athletes train, Radar Pace is designed to provide all types of athletes with information and feedback through personalized training programs, performance tracking, and a virtual coach that offers actionable instruction and motivation throughout a workout. Radar Pace also uses Intel's Real Speech natural voice interaction so athletes can ask the smart eyewear questions and receive real-time feedback.
The Radar Pace also uses Oakley Prizm™ lens technology that helps enhance detail to improve performance with ultra-precise color tuning designed for specific environments.
Radar Pace will reportedly be distributed in North America, Australia and Europe, and is now available on Oakley.com and select Oakley stores, with select wholesale and Sunglass Hut locations to follow.
