WooDone recently announced it has created special edition sunglasses for German athletes that will participate in the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
Created in collaboration with German Sports and the Olympic Federation, the frames are made of walnut and painted in Germany's flag colors of black, red and yellow. The special edition sunwear will reportedly be given for sporting achievements to all German champions once they have returned from Rio with an official ceremony from the Sports and Olympics Federation.

RIO 2016 - WOODONE CREATES SPECIAL EDITION GLASSES FOR THE GERMAN TEAM
WooDone – the brand created in the shadow of the Dolomites – arrives to Rio for the Olympics 2016! In collaboration with the German Sports and Olympic Federation has designed a walnut made model created only for the athletes that will participate at the XXXI Edition of the Olympic Games.
For the occasion the brand founded by Thomas Oberegger and Klaus Tavella designed a model painted with German flag’s shades. The natural beauty of the wood blends with black, red and yellow: the German colours.
The special edition sunglasses will be given for sporting achievements to all German champions once returned from Rio with an official ceremony of the Sports and Olympics Federation, that will be transmitted on all National TV’s.
