Boston-based start-up 2020 On-site Optometry has raised $3 million to fuel expansion and bring vision care to more companies.
The $3 million is reportedly an extension of its Series A-1, bringing the company's total fundraising to $7.9 million. 2020 On-site Optometry reportedly delivers comprehensive vision care — including an eye exam from an independent optometrist — to offices and schools via a mobile vision center. The mobile center also has a retail store on-board, offering glasses and contact lenses. To date, 2020 On-site has performed more than 10,000 exams on its mobile vision centers at over 230 corporations.
