 ABB Founder Named Entrepreneur of the Year, PEN Now Accepting Credit Card Payments

Angel Alvarez, CEO and founder of optical product distributor ABB Optical Group, was recently given the Florida EY Entrepreneur of the Year® 2016 Award in the distribution and manufacturing category.

The awards program reportedly recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Alvarez founded ABB Optical in 1989 and today the company employees more than 1,000 across four locations.

And Primary Eyecare Network (PEN) — a division of ABB — is now giving members the option to pay their monthly invoices online via credit card. Online payments can be made through PEN's website, PrimaryEye.net, which also allows members to quickly view their online monthly billing statements through a secure and private login. PEN accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa cards for online payments, as well as mailed checks, electronic fund transfers, and credit card payments over the phone.
