Optometric Slit Lamps (Slit Lamp Biomicroscopes)

A slit lamp provides a three dimensional view of the anatomical parts of the eye and magnification of these different structures through the use of a beam of light during an optometric exam. Optometrists use slit lamps to identify disorders, infection or any other complications offering a more interactive approach to documenting an eye exam.

There are several types of optometric slit lamps including conventional biomicroscope, portable slit lamps, and digital slit lamps. Considerations include magnification, illumination, slit width/length, and slit aperture.

DescriptionThe SL-D4 is part of Topcon's D-Series Digital Slit Lamps. It can be used as a conventional examination instrument or with the optional DC-3 integrated digital camera for 8 megapixel imaging. This slit lamp features superb optics and five convenient The MYAH is a versatile instrument, including optical biometry, corneal topography, pupillometry, anterior cornea wavefront analysis, and contact lens fitting tool. It is a comprehensive device for monitoring axial length, evaluating the corneal The SL-2G is a clinical slit lamp for use in eye examination. It features a compact illumination unit with an LED instead of traditional bulbs. The unit houses the adjustable slit mechanism with up to 14mm of aperture. The slit angle can be rotated The SL-D2 is part of Topcon's D-Series Digital Slit Lamps. It can be used as a conventional examination instrument or with the optional DC-3 integrated digital camera for 8 megapixel imaging. This cost-effective slit lamp features excellent optics

The SL-D701 Slit Lamp continues the Topcon tradition of quality and innovation with the incorporation of a bright 450.000 Lux LED illumination source. The new LED illumination allows observation under a brighter, more homogeneous illumination source
