Corneal Topography

Corneal topography is a medical imaging technology that is used by optometrists and ophthalmologists to take images of the cornea — the outer portion of the eye. A corneal topographer non-invasively captures the required information and measurements to provide a doctor with a map of the corneal surface. This corneal map can be used for a variety of purposes, from contact lens fittings to disease detection and management to planning ocular surgery.
