Description
The Wormington NP Card is specially designed to be a corrected Rosenbaum card. The known inaccuracies of the older Rosenbaum card (as noted by Horton and Jones in 1997 and others) have been corrected. The "J" notations are not used because of the lack of standards associated with this notation. Using the Wormington NP Card, the examiner can measure a patient’s single letter near acuity and reading acuity. The font used is ‘New Roman Times’ a popular font used by newspapers and books. A series of tumbling E’s, a metric scale, and pupil size array have been added to the original Rosenbaum design to increase usefulness. Printed on white styrene plastic. Card size is 3 1/2" by 6 1/2" (90 mm x 165mm) Card size is 3 1/2" by 6 1/2" (90 mm x 165mm).
