Introducing the Clinical Trial Suite, or CTS. CTS is comprised of testing modules that can be combined and/or customized depending on the needs of each trial. The main testing modules in CTS are:

CTS has already been used in multiple trials, from simple drops to multi-focal IOLs. As with our Smart System software, the tests and algorithms have been peer-reviewed and tested by key industry professionals and the technology is certified to the ANSI and ISO specifications for vision testing.
CTS is not a one-size-fits-all product. CTS offers options customized to meet the specific needs of each trial. Our developers stay on the cutting edge of technology and have built in comprehensive controls so the trials run with efficiency and accuracy.
The CTS Tablet controls each test and allows for easily exporting of the test results. The controls were designed to step the administrator through each test with clarity and ease.
Our patented Glare Testing System, whichconforms to AAO standards for testing as recommended by the FDA, is perfect for testing multi-focal IOLs under glare conditions at both photopic and mesopic luminance levels.
All of our software development, hardware engineering, customer service and technical support is out of our office in Niles, Illinois. At M&S, we pride ourselves on the best and most responsive service in the industry. CTS comes with a maintenance warranty that lasts the duration of the trial. Should any issues arise, our “Spare-in-the-Air” program assures that you will be up-and-running with a replacement unit within 24 hours.
There are approximately 27,000 M&S systems in use worldwide: from large teaching hospitals and optometry schools to single-lane clinics and local vision franchises, from multi-generational family practices to pharmaceutical trial sites. We currently hold six U.S. patents with more pending.
