A&A Optical

A&A Optical recently announced the release of two new ophthalmic frames for the Seventy one™ eyewear collection, engineered for the millennial market. The bold and retro Brandeis frame (pictured right) features a round eye and keyhole bridge, and comes in black, crimson or tortoise. And the Emory frame is a combination frame with a retro shape and comes in black, tortoise or Tokyo tortoise.

And A&A Optical has also introduced new two new frame styles to its Crocs™ Eyewear collection. The CF648 is a modified rectangle frame with a black front and neon bright temples, available in either green, pink or blue. And the women's style CF3015 has an oval stainless steel front with multitoned silicone rubber temples and comes in three different color combinations.

Area98

ImageItalian eyewear company Area98 recently launched its new KAOS eyewear collection featuring styles for those that prefer unmistakable details and timeless accessories. Models include the KK382 that has a square shape and geometrical patterns in contrasting colors, and KK386 (pictured left) featuring 3D decor and stripes inspired by the texture of vintage tissues.

Also this month, Area98 introduced new frames for its Oliviero Contini line. The women's frames — OV4209 and OV4210 — combine tortoise acetate fronts with opalescent temples, or light metal versions combined with contrast-colored temples finished with Swarovski elements. And the new men's models — OV4223, OV4224, and OV4220 — feature square shaped frames with a sensational tone range.

Kenmark Optical

ImageThe latest frames from Kenmark Optical can be found in their Kensie eyewear collection, inspired by Kensie clothing and accessories. The five new frames include Iridescent, which features a flat metal style with gradient colors and geometric detail on the temple, and Aspire — a full zyl cat eye style with color blocking on both front and temples. The Lucky frame is a full zyl style frame with an oversize fit, while Element (pictured right) is a full zyl square with rivets on the front. And the Mesmerize frame is a full zyl style frame available in black marble, pink marble, and blue marble. 

Marcolin

ImageOver the past few weeks, Marcolin has introduced a number of new frame styles for some of its brands.

For the Harley-Davidson® Eyewear collection, Marcolin introduced five new men's and two new women's ophthalmic styles, and two new men's and four new women's sunglass styles. The new designs feature classic styles and minimalistic details, making them timeless and easy to wear. Examples include the women's HD0533 made of handmade acetate and jewelry-inspired metal décor, and the men's HD0742 with a subtle combination of metal and acetate.

The Spring-Summer 2016 Balenciaga eyewear collection features new optical and sunglass frames, all featuring iconic decorative motifs and unusual, avant-garde structures to give them a sophisticated appeal. New optical frame options include the BA5042 that reinterprets the classic cat-eye design with vintage details and a futuristic vibe, the BA5047 with its sinuous design and mix of metal and acetate, and the retro-inspired BA5048 (pictured left) that features a cat-eye silhouette coated in printed leather.

And 10 new kids' ophthalmic styles are included in the Skechers Eyewear Spring/Summer 2016 collection, with five styles for boys and five for girls. Options for boys include the sporty-looking SE1117 with dual colorations and a step-down temple design crafted in acetate, and the sleek metal design of optical style SE1124 with temples decorated with a pop graffiti pattern. And for girls, optical style SE1598 as a playful multi-colored bubble pattern on its acetate temples, while a subtle ombre floral print decorates the acetate temples of frame styles SE1606 and SE1607.

The McGee Group

ImageEarlier this month, The McGee Group introduced the Badgley Mischka Men’s April Collection, designed for men of all ages with a shared demand and appreciation of the finer things in life. The Crosley frame features a rounded square eyeshape, notched temples with hinge pins, and a Titanium eye rim for a lightweight feel. And the Darrin is also a lightweight frame, this time with an oversized square eye shape and powder-coated matte titanium frame front and temples.

The McGee Group also launched the women's Isee frame (pictured right) for the Badgley Mischka April Optical Collection. This feminine, lightweight combination frame sparkles with metal inlays on acetate temples with delicately placed Swarovski crystals. The Isee is available in rown with blush temples or gunmetal with peal pink temples.

OGI Eyewear

ImageInnotec from OGI Eyewear recently introduced two new original styles to its eyewear collection, handcrafted from TR-90 surgical-grade plastic and ultem. The Emery frame features a classic rectangular shape and comes in four burnished color options, while the Ward frame (pictured left) is a next-generation P3 pair with a keyhold bridge and available in four classy color options. Both frames also feature metal hinges and adjustable noise pads for comfort and reliability.

 

Tura

ImageTura Inc. recently expanded its high-tech TITANflex brand with new men's ophthalmic styles that include the brand's innovative memory metal technology with modern European design. The Modern & Fashionable (Style 827013, pictured right) features architectural details on the end piece with an open temple design, while The Sleek Rectangle (Style 827014) has a nylon rimless soft rectangular shape for the man looking for classic simplicity. And three styles of The Modern & Youthful Rectangle frame have a softer rectangular shape with two-tone metal plating on stainless steel temples.

Tura also recently introduced Brendel by Talbot Runhof, showcasing frame styles with a strong global appeal. A unique feature of these frames is signature fabric with metallic threads from the Talbot Runhof runway collection are inlaid into the acetate and metal optical frames. The collection features three optical and three sunwear styles.

The new Kate Young for Tura 2016 collection fuses retro styling with Hollywood glamour with 14 optical styles and 16 sunglasses that feature unique metal details in a variety of finishes to create a statement. A palette of earthy colors — rich tortoises, ambers and olive greens — are complimented by blacks, crystal and white to keep the palette fresh. Optical options include the K108 with a modern square lens and metal accents that reflect Tura's long history of jewelry-inspired frames, and the K109 that mixes vintage fashion with modern elements.

And Tura also recently expanded its two collections by singer Gwen Stefani — L.A.M.B. and gx by Gwen Stefani. Eyewear in the L.A.M.B. collection feature Gwen's love of "black and white" by expressing it through graphic uses of stripes, checkers, geometric prints and color blocking. And gx by Gwen Stefani was designed for fans looking for an affordable way to emulate her style and features a trendy retro-inspired "geek chic" shapes with a playful use of pop color. The L.A.M.B. collection includes 17 ophthalmic and 13 sunwear styles, while gx by Gwen Stefani offers 17 ophthalmic styles.

Zyloware

ImageEarlier this month, Zyloware announced new frame releases for a number of its brands, including Sophia Loren, Stetson, Randy Jackson Limited Edition, MaxStudio.com, Leon Max, and Invincilites.

The Sophia Loren M274 is an oval-shaped frame with feminine accents and delicate detailing, available in brown/gold and gold, while MaxStudio.com 147M (pictured left) is a one-of-a-kind full rim, metal frame with a flattering geometric shape. And the new Leon Max frames include the full rim zyl 4032 frame, semi-rimless cat-eye 4033 frame, and square-shaped 4034 frame available in four unique colors. 

The Invincilites Zeta W is a rimless frame in a sleek rectangle shape, while the Zeta T is a rimless frame with an oval shape, both featuring metal front and endpieces plus signature Grilamid® temples. The Randy Jackson Limited Edition X121 is a chunky zyl frame in a bold rectangular shape, and the Randy Jackson Limited Edition X122 is a semi-rimless zyl frame whose lux appearance makes it a statement piece. And Stetson unveiled two new men's frames — the ZF 715 is a full rim memory metal frame with a masculine oval shape, while the 327 is a full rim metal frame with a classic rectangle shape.
