FCI Ophthalmics

FCI Ophthalmics is a world leader in the development of ophthalmic surgical devices and dry eye products for the treatment of punctal occlusion. FCI's wide range of dry eye products includes several types of silicone punctum plugs, flow-through plugs, temporary and long-term absorbable plugs, gauges, dilators and Zone Quick tear tests.

Snug Plug

The Snug Plug™ is a unique one-size-fits-all soft silicone punctum plug that is pre-loaded on an insertion tool in a stretched position making it slimmer and, therefore, easier to insert into the punctum. Once released, the plug returns to it's original bulbous shape and stays securely in place.

Ready-Set Punctum Plugs

Ready-Set punctum plugs feature slanted collars that conform to the natural anatomy of the eyelid for maximum patient comfort. These punctal plugs are pre-loaded on a disposable inserter/dilator device and can be easily removed with forceps.

Non-Sterile Plugs

Ready-Set Punctum Plugs are als available in non-sterile bulk packaging for a more economical alternative. These plugs are pre-mounted on a handy wheel containing 24 plugs and can be easily loaded onto plug inserters included in the kit.

ProLong™ Absorbable Long-Term Punctum Plugs

ProLong™ absorbable long-term punctal plugs are used by physicians when treating short-term dry eye conditions and post-surgical dry eye symptoms. They are made of absorbable copolymer and can be expected to last up to three months.
