Enhanced Vision Launches New Wearable Low Vision Technology

Enhanced Vision has recently launched Jordy — a new wearable low vision technology designed to help those with macular degeneration or other low vision conditions perform everyday tasks, such as reading mail, paying bills and watching television.

Jordy is reportedly worn like a pair of glasses and allows the wearer to see near and far, as well as to read, write and see in any environment, including home, work and school. Weighing only 8 ounces, Jordy also reportedly features an HD autofocus camera for distance, intermediate and near viewing, providing the wearer the full control over their visual experience. And the wearable tech also features an adjustable nosepiece and is powered through rechargeable batteries.
