UCSB Scientists Discover Exercise Can Help Enhance Vision

Scientists from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) have discovered exercise can help enhance vision.

The researchers reportedly designed an experiment to look at how physical exercise might impact human performance and underlying neural activity. Through their study, scientists found low-intensity exercise boosted activation in the visual cortex, compared to rest and high-intensity exercise.

While researchers reportedly do not yet know what mechanism is making this happen, they do believe their work helps further underscore the importance of exercise.

The study was recently published in the Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience.
