A&A Optical
New from A&A Optical are four new styles from XXL™ Eyewear, featuring premium quality eyewear engineered for the man with special fit needs and endorsed by ESPN's Ron "Jaws” Jaworski. The new Beaver combines a band of color and rubber temples for a modern, sport luxe look, while the matte acetate style Deacon (pictured right) is the ultimate in stylish sophistication with its modern lines and sleek metal accent. Governor is a titanium frame with a rectangular silhouette and check patterned temples, and the semi-rimless Husker exudes effortless style with a flat front, clean angular lines and a hint of color.
Area98
The latest collection from Area98's Robert Rüdger eyewear brand is both sophisticated and up-to-date, featuring models characterized by clean lines and different materials and thicknesses, such as Hard Density Cellulose Acetate (HDCA). HDCA is used in the keyhole bridge and front of new model RR043 (pictured left) — a wide square frame distinguished by a singular cut on the temple and highlighted by bright contrasting colors. Other standouts from the new collection include the refined RR044 made of titanium with a subtle profile, also available with mirrored gold sun lenses. And model RR045 is for the professional who likes to stand out with style, featuring a square frame made entirely from horn.
EVATIK
New from EVATIK eyewear are three sophisticated frames designed to satisfy today's fashion-savvy man with unique designs, top quality materials, and advanced technology. Model E-9139 (pictured right) was designed for the stylish man looking for a modern sophisticated frame without sacrificing comfort or durability, with a larger eye size and rectangular eye shape to perfectly balance larger face shapes. And models E-9140 and E-9141 are a return to 90s styling, both featuring an intricate laser-etched pattern on the bridge and temples for a unique and refined design element.
KLiiK: denmark
New from KLiiK: denmark are four new original and easy-to-wear styles for the winter season, all inspired by Scandinavian design and key fashion influences. The new K-572 (pictured left) won't go unnoticed thanks to the colored epoxy brushed onto the brow and the temples, which has been baked to produce a crinkly, textured cracked ice finish. Model K-585 offers a contemporary twist on a 90s style, featuring an iconic oval shape with a delicate laser etched pattern on the bridge and temples. Model K-588 sports a retro-inspired round eye shape and two-tone abstract pattern, while K-573 is a semi-rimless stainless steel frame with a clean, sporty look.
KOMONO
Global eyewear and watch brand KOMONO has launched the NEUTRØ Series — a capsule collection of sunglasses designed with stylish sustainability (pictured right). The collection infuses four classic KOMONO styles with NEUTRØ technology, including the Francis, Vivien, Harper and Devon. All styles feature gradient bio-lenses and sustainable frames, available in two colors, sand and black. For this collection, KOMONO collaborated with Dutch science-based company DSM Engineering Plastics to base the NEUTRØ designs on EcoPaXX — a product derived from the sustainable castor bean. This new material has been developed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions commonly associated with human activity and industry production.
L'Amy America
L'Amy America recently launched two new collections for Champion Eyes — the new PowerFlex TI Series and its Spring 2017 sunglass collection. The new PowerFlex TI (Titanium) series is a new three-model series featuring Champion's PowerFlex TI temple design that eliminates the need for the traditional, heavier-weight spring hinge system. Each model — the sport rectangle CU201903 (pictured left), semi-rimless CU202001, and squared semi-rim CU202103 — comes in three color options.
And the Spring 2017 sunglass collection features 13 new models — seven of which are Extended Size fit — all featuring Champion's own C-Tech Polarized sun lenses. Designed to complement Champion's existing collection of ophthalmic and sunwear for men, tweens and extended sizes, the new models offer classic metal designs, sport 8-base wraps, and acetate/stainless steel combinations with a vintage vibe.
New York Eye
Esquire and New York Eye recently announced the launch of the Esquire Eyewear Collection for Men, which will launch nationally at Vision Expo East in March. Designed in collaboration with the editors at Esquire, the collection delivers reimagined classic eyewear shapes that are modern, sophisticated and on-trend, constructed of acetate, stainless steel and titanium. Highlights from the collection include the rectangular acetate style 1508, available in four eye-grabbing colors — Cobalt, Light Tortoise, Tortoise and Black. Timeless style 8650 is made from titanium for an innovative frame that is both durable and comfortable, and style 1510 (pictured right) offers a fresh take on traditional circular frames with rich patterns, acetate materials and modernized color palettes.
Plan "B" Eyewear
New from Plan "B" Eyewear are eight new models for its ONESUN collection. Featuring a mix of mens and womens designs, these models provide a classic sunglass look with playful and unique details. New style SUN-151 is crafted from an exquisite demi-acetate available in grey and brown that shimmers from every angle, while SUN-146 is a smooth and stream lined aviator with a matte finish. And SUN-154 (pictured left) is peachy keen with playful temple details and a delicious color gradient. All eight new models are 100 percent Rx-able, fully polarized and feature a backside AR coating for increased clarity.
Revolution Eyewear
Revolution Eyewear unleashes new styles for both men and women for Spring 2017 in its signature bottom-mounted magnetic clip-on collection, featuring both classic and contemporary styles with grey or brown polarized shatter-resistant clips. For women, the new Avon is a rich two-tone delight with playful metal work on each endpiece, and Hoboken is a retro classic with a deep front and vintage vibe. For men, Chancellor is an ultra-versatile great fit on every guy, while Lido (pictured right) features a retro two-tone front and Marshall is a timeless semi-rim for quiet sophistication. And the unisex Parker is a round design that Revolution customers have been demanding, available in brown or gunmetal.
Safilo Group
New from Safilo Group is the Fendi Spring/Summer 2017 Eyewear Collection, celebrating the Roman Maison's elegance with contemporary graphics and playful color combinations. The Rainbow sunglasses — styles FF 0242/s and FF 0243/s (pictured left) — are inspired by the details distinguishing the FENDI bags and accessories world, especially by the colorful studs. These new frames feature ultra-flat and extra-light round or cat-eye half-rim shapes in metal, with a delicate three-color gradient effect enhancing the lenses.
The Waves sunglasses — FF 0248/S, FF 0240/S and FF 0241/S sunglasses, and FF 0245 and FF 0246 optical frames — feature the gravitational waves motif on the round metal frames, featuring hypnotic waves all-over or tampo-printed only on the top of the lenses. And the waves are also translated into a linear graphic in the new sunglasses and optical frames in an exclusive striped acetate, giving them a unique twist with lively color combinations. And the new FF 0247/S EyeShine sunglasses feature an oversized butterfly shape in metal, enhanced by a floating metal bar and a "frame-within-a-frame" design.
WestGroupe
WestGroupe recently announced the launch of the 2017 FYSH UK sunwear collection, featuring 11 new models with a mix of styling that captures today's eyewear trends in bold, colorful hues. Part of the popular Links collection launched in 2016, model F-2009 is an oversized round square silhouette made of handmade acetate with a pattern inspired by soft, frothy layers of tulle, while F-2010 adds a modern twist to its wayfarer inspired shape with an on-trend dropped bridge. And the feminine butterfly shape of model F-2011 is the perfect backdrop for the watercolor inspired pattern of the handmade acetate.
Drawing inspiration from the ’90s, models F-2018 and F-2019 take us back to the glam looks of the past with sleek metal frames wrapped in leather. Styles F-2017 and F-2015 (pictured right) are both oversized cat-eyes that are all about the lacy details — F-2017 is brought to life with shimmery, translucent acetate with interwoven metallic thread, while F-2015 features a translucent lace pattern on the front and temples that creates an extremely feminine and refined look. And new models F-2012, F-2014 and F-2016 continue the hot color blocking trend using a new patented process that raises the second layer of acetate to the front, providing a unique layered look.
Wiley X
Wiley X® is celebrating its 30th anniversary with three new Rx-ready styles for 2017. WX Ignite and WX Nash are new to Wiley X’s Active Lifestyle Series, and are designed for men and women who work hard and play harder. WX Ignite comes in a streamlined Matte Black frame with Polarized Blue Mirror lenses or the Black Ops edition with Smoke Grey lenses, while WX Nash comes in three configurations to suit a range of personal styles, needs and activities. And WX Enzo (pictured left) is new to the brand's Climate Control family and is available in four unique frame/lens combinations.
Xavier Garcia Barcelona
New for Spring 2017 from Xavier Garcia Barcelona are six new models for its Steel Block collection, featuring a metal designs made from a steel block of 1.8 mm. For women, the new Ilda is independent and feisty with an oversized cat eye and bright metallic colors, while Isona is understated with an oversized retro square shape and soft colors. And Ivet is insightful with a comfortable rectangular shape and classic color palette. For men, Lacruz (pictured right) is natural and friendly with an allusion to the classic aviator style, while Lago is persuasive and observant with a small round shape in a retro style and a two-tone combination. And Lahoz has a certain aura of mystery, featuring a classic pantos shape and fine profiles.
Zimco Optics
Defined by the uncommon integration of shapes, materials and colors, Zimco Optics' Harve Benard collection (pictured left) offers wearers a cohesive look with a collection of both mens and womens styles that cater to the individuality of the wearer, while still placing a strong emphasis on value, quality and modern style. The womens collection is tantamount to the idea of being fashion forward, while the mens collection is all about strong silhouettes and bold colors.
