IDOC Hosts National Optometry Conference, Announces Next Dates

IDOC — an alliance committed to the growth and long-term success of independent optometrists — recently hosted over 400 independent optometrists, staff members and vendor partners during its National Conference at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Fl. in February.

Highlights of the conference reportedly included practice management COPE-accredited courses from Dr. Mark Wright and medical CE sessions from Dr. John Rumpakis. Additionally, a first-ever "School for Staff" session was held, and full-day "Roundtables" offered an opportunity for independent optometrists to discuss the issues they face and share solutions they have put in to action.

IDOC will reportedly host a second National Meeting in Denver, Colo. from October 25-28, 2017, where IDOC members and staff come together to learn from industry leading speakers as well as interact and learn from each other. And IDOC will return to Gaylord Palms for one of its National Conferences next year, to be held February 15-17, 2018.
