PEN Offers Coding and Compliance Seminars in January

Primary Eyecare Network (PEN) — a division of ABB Optical Group — will offer four coding and compliance seminars for ECPs throughout California in January.

Led by industry expert Dr. John McGreal, the half-day seminars will discuss 2017 billing changes and updates including what's new with ICD-10, the basics of CPT, and 2017 changes and updates for CMS and EHS. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in one hour of clinical training, which will cover the conditions and diseases commonly seen in practices.

Seminars are scheduled to take place from 7am to 12:30pm on:

  • Saturday, January 7 in Glendale at the Hilton Glendale, 100 W Glenoaks Blvd.
  • Sunday, January 8 in Irvine at the Hilton Irvine, 18800 MacArthur Blvd.
  • Saturday, January 21 in Sacramento at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento, 1209 L St.
  • Sunday, January 22 in San Ramon at the San Ramon Marriott, 2600 Bishop Drive

Each seminar is $210 for PEN members and $260 for non-members. Each seminar offers four hours of Council on Optometric Practitioner Education (COPE) continuing education credits pending approval.
