Primary Eyecare Network Offering Several Educational Opportunities in November and December
ALAMEDA, Calif. (October 11, 2016) – Primary Eyecare Network (PEN), a division of ABB OPTICAL GROUP, is pleased to offer eye care practitioners several educational events throughout November and December. PEN's schedule includes:
Topic: Frame Adjusting
When: November 1, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. PDT
Location: Hampton Inn & Suites Oakland Airport
1700 Harbor Bay Parkway, Alameda, CA 94502
Cost: $95 per person for PEN members; $120 per person for non-members
About: This interactive workshop will offer a practical, hands-on frame adjusting experience. Participants will learn front-to-back, custom adjustment techniques on both plastic and metal frames as well as troubleshooting and problem adjustments. Led by Mindi Lewis, an American Board of Opticianry certified (ABOC) optician and fellow of the National Academy of Opticianry (FNAO), this course is worth two ABO credit hours.

About: Led by certified professional coder Ann Bina of CS Eye, an optical billing and compliance firm, this webinar will cover when to use the comprehensive 92004, 92014 and intermediate 92002, 92012 codes versus 99xxx codes. Participants will review current guidance and learn how to document to support chosen codes.
